​We believe your puppy search is just as much about the people raising the dogs as it is about the dogs themselves.

We are Austin and Callan Reyher, owners of Diamond R Kennels. We took the reins in 2017 from the Rothing family in Belgrade, and have since found our forever home in Ennis, Montana — where we continue the legacy of quality American Labradors that Peter and Tanya Rothing began in 1982.

Austin was born and raised just down the road in Belgrade, MT and has always had a deep passion for hunting dogs, hunting, fishing, and everything outdoors. Since 2012, he has worked as a fishing and hunting guide and is a licensed Outfitter based in Ennis. When he's not guiding, he spends his time training dogs and running in the field with them here in the Madison Valley. Austin earned his degree in Animal Science from Montana State University, with a focus on Animal Reproduction.

Callan, originally from Helena, Montana, grew up with three chocolate Diamond R Labs and has since raised dozens more pups from birth. She focuses on our started puppies and ensures our older dogs get the play, attention, and exercise they need each day. Callan is also a graduate of Montana State in Bozeman with a degree in Business Marketing and minors in Spanish and International Business.

At Diamond R Kennels, our mission is to raise healthy, athletic (& fun!) Labradors, equip you with the best tools to raise a great dog, and support you in becoming the best owners you can be.
